About

Teresa Morini is an accomplished electronic music composer and electric bassist, with a career that has taken her on tours across Europe, Canada, and the United States. These experiences, performing with diverse artists and productions, rekindled her passion for composing electronic music and deepened her commitment to creating innovative sounds.

From a young age, Teresa’s fascination with technology was nurtured by watching her father repair tape machines, mixing desks, and various electronics. This early exposure ignited her lifelong interest in the intersection of music and technology, which she continues to explore in her work. Recently, she furthered her expertise by earning a Master’s degree in Electronic Music Composition from the University of West London, reinforcing her dedication to continuous learning and pushing the boundaries of her craft.

Teresa’s work embodies the fusion of science and art. She approaches music composition with rigorous workflows and methodologies, channeling her creativity into projects that bridge the gap between technology and human experience. Her recent major study explores the impact of music on cognitive abilities, where she developed adaptive and interactive music systems for neurofeedback. The process of developing these systems offered inspiration in unexpected ways. The act of assigning and mapping brainwaves felt like improvising and jamming with the mind itself, creating a dynamic and responsive collaboration between music and cognitive function.

As a strong advocate for transdisciplinary collaboration, Teresa is always open to new creative opportunities. If you have a project that could benefit from her expertise and experiences, she invites you to reach out and connect through the form below.
